Sizing Toughees school shoes is easy - they are manufactured in UK sizes! 

The range of styles allow for narrow, medium or wide fittings and this is indicated on the description for each style. 

Toughees also have a range of shoes that are 'Podiatrist Approved'.  These shoes have been approved by the South African Podiatry Association for having a wider fit, being lighter and more flexible.  These additional features encourage strong foot development and provide more comfort.

The table below may be helpful if you are familiar with other manufacturers width fittings.  There are no standards for width fittings, each manufacturer uses a different scale, however you may find the following useful:

This information is intended to guide you when you decide to purchase Toughees and we encourage you to try your best to choose the correct size before purchasing.  However you may find that your childs foot is not the size you thought!  If so, please let us know via the 'Contact Us' page that you wish to make an exchange and as soon as we receive your return, we will be pleased to send you one replacement pair, with a free delivery charge.  If you need to exchange the shoe for further sizes there will be a delivery charge of £2.99.
